How long can I keep a skip?+
Hire periods depend on the booking and local arrangements. Tell us your project dates and we will confirm the collection plan before delivery.
Do I need a permit?+
A skip wholly on private land normally does not need a highway permit. A skip on a public road usually does. We will check the address and explain the next step.
Can I put a sofa in the skip?+
Not in a general mixed skip unless a compliant arrangement has been confirmed. Upholstered seating may contain POPs and normally needs separate handling.
How high can I fill it?+
Waste must stay level with the top edge. An overloaded skip can be unsafe to transport and may not be collected until the excess is removed.
Can soil and rubble go in?+
Usually, in the right skip and within weight limits. Dense waste gets heavy quickly, so declare it before booking.
